Luxury and a Bargain!
"This cottage is upscale in every way! We spent four blissful nights sleeping in a very comfortable bed in a quiet neighborhood. We parked our kayak on the lawn just steps away from the water. I was so impressed that everything you could possibly need was available in the wonderfully stocked kitchen and bath. Kudos especially to abundant soft towels. Loved that bikes were provided and that, parks, trails, downtown, and mill shopping district are just a walk or easy bike ride away. One of the best travel experiences I have had. Thank you gracious hosts!"Joan B. from Sequim, Washington
Already planning a return trip!
"My family loved staying at this property! The house was comfortable, well furnished and located in the heart of Bend. It is right on the Deschutes River, so the kids could wade and play in the water all day long. Pubs and eateries are close by... We can't wait to go back!"Bill E.
"This is an exceptional property! Right at the river. Lots of green grass. Plenty of float toys. Tab is amazing...kind, attentive, pays attention to the details. Super chill place to relax, be with family, and watch the floaters go buy. Have stayed at two of the three properties. Staying in the third one next year while my brother and his fam rent one of the ones we stayed in. If you're looking for a good place to experience the Bend lifestyle, THIS IS IT! Watch the baby ducks swim by. Float. Take your board upstream to paddle and land at your vacay home. Tab is responsive and thoughtful. LOVE this place. Already reserved for next year and so did my brother and his family. Had everything we needed from kitchen items to washer and dryer."Cassandra V.
"My husband and I went to the area to visit my daughter in Bend and wanted to treat her too by staying somewhere on the water. We loved the little quaint bungalow! The back yard and river is magical! We used the all the water toys, the bikes and loved that we could walk anywhere. We will for sure be back."D. from Peoria, Illinois
Great Property in Bend
"This property is fantastic - the location is wonderful - right by Drake Park, within walking distance of 10 Barrel, and very close to the river. It was super clean and tidy, the decor was tasteful and all of the furnishings and amenities were high quality (nice pots and pans, dishes, etc!). My parents were visiting Oregon from Wisconsin and the space was just right for the three of us. I was comfortable on the pull-out sofa. I hope to rent this house again next time I'm in Bend with my husband. One thing to note is that the river access does feel a little awkward - you're essentially in another house's backyard - but go with it - it's a beautiful little piece of riverfront!!"Sara C. from Portland, Oregon
Great Little Vacation Cottage
"The cottage presents itself very well, and it was comfortable and enjoyable for the entire week of our stay. It has a better stock of cooking utensils, eating utensils, etc. than most other rentals. It is attractive and nicely decorated. The owner lives next door and was very helpful with whatever we needed. The access to the river is wonderful: It is about 50 yards away from the back door. It does not look out on the river, but views from all windows are pleasing. The front porch is great for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. We walked often to town from the cottage."Charlie and Desi V.
Amazing High End Bungalow amazing location
"Paddle boards, kayaks galore! We were so blown away by the beauty of this property. It's in a very nice riverfront neighborhood. This is a first class property for sure. We have been staying in vrbo rentals for almost ten years and this has to top all of them. It is very accurately described, but the pictures don't do it justice. We sat on the big back deck and watched the river and floaters go by. It has a partial view of the river from the bedroom only, but the bedroom is so chill, relaxing and comfortable. We were amazed. You can definitely see the river from the bedroom and back deck...(we saw a review that said you can't) We are from Laguna and so any glimpse of water is so important!) The yard is so big! It so goes from the beach area (private) to the past the dock; essentially a multi-million dollar with a bunch of paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, river floats. we were so happy to just have them at our disposal. Inside of the cabin was amazing as well. It is an old mill house that is so updated nice wood floors and wood doors. A big river rock fireplace a great modern kitchen. We appreciated all the nice dishes, pots and pans. Even Henkel Knives and all super nice amenities. The washer and dryer is small but we did use it. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are so soft. The furniture is very nice and the place is decorated very well. We opened the window and the nice cool breeze off the river kept us comfortable all night. It cools off really nice in Bend and we did not have to turn the A/C once even though it was there. The occasional honk and quack of the waterfowl only added to the experience. My wife has already planned another trip next summer! The new whitewater park will be open and we are so game! This place is our new place when we come to BEND! Thank you Tab for being so nice and funny! We are sold on the Deschutes Dunes!"Mark W.
